Giving back is as easy as 1,2,3.

If you’re anything like us, you would probably love to make a big difference in the life of someone else, but don’t quite know how to go about doing it. It seems to be easy to get overwhelmed thinking what to do and how to go about helping someone else; thinking to yourself, do I really have the time or money? Making a difference doesn’t have to be time consuming, hard, or something you do alone. Sometimes finding a simple way to start is the best.

This was the idea behind our Share Your Sight Program. It weighed heavily on our hearts to find a way to give back to needy children in our community. Alone we couldn’t much, but together we could make an impact. Since our passion is for vision, and optics, we made it our goal to find a way to put the two together. First we selected one of our top selling frames in the store, Swissflex. We decided that since these were a top seller and one of the more costly pairs of glasses we carry that we would donate a complete pair of glasses to a child at our local Hibiscus Children’s house. Each pair of glasses donated comes complete with the best in optics available for each child and a frame of their choice, no restrictions. Tdhis was something we could feel really good about giving.

We were greeted with such gratitude, not just from the staff, but also from the children as we came to fit them with new eyewear. Within a few short months we had had so much success with this program we extended qualifying frames to two of our other top sellers, Kawasaki and Charmant. Within six months, with the help of our patients, we were able to fulfill the need of every child!

Together we can make a difference and impact our local communities. The key is to start small and aim high!
